Re: Moving Violation Tickets
Bump. Anyone? Thanks!
I have a license from: ? I'm going to assume NYS

The ticket was issued in this state:
The ticket was filed in this municipality:
Ticket one:
Ticket two(ex):
I want information on "do it yourself":
I want information on "hire an attorney":
I want both:

I would call one of the numbers listed in wiki.
The consultation is free.

Plus you'll actually get to talk to him given that he's not responding on the forums.....

ETA: given that this ticket carries 6 points if found guilty in addition to Driver Responsibility Assessment, court fines, NYS surcharges, and probably a insurance rate increase I would definitely go with an attorney such as: 845-356-7770

Re: Jury Duty
Thanks but I'm still not clear - why do some people get 2 and some get 8?
I got eight as well and wasn't even called.

It looks like federal minimum is 2 yrs and it varies by jurisdiction.

Each jurisdiction treats it differently as well as federal vs State and I'm confused as well (not gonna post it, although you can look it up on nys/federal courts site ny amongst others and get more confused)

Re: google fi
Ok so I did search the forums for answers to my questions, but to no avail :-(

We are traveling to Israel and Switzerland for three weeks this summer. We (my husband and I) have Verizon wireless domestic plans. I have the Pixel, he has an Android. I understand I am able to use my Pixel for Google fi (altho I bought it from Verizon, so not sure?? can I? ), and this looks like a much cheaper option for me then Verizon's international plan. Question: Can I use my pixel for the three weeks to just use google fi abroad, without cancelling my verizon domestic plan? any tips on how this works?

You change sim cards.

Re: South Florida Master Thread
Any Reports on the Hilton Cabana Miami Beach?
What do you want to know?

It served our needs as a nice, clean, and modern hotel and would go back if the price is right.

Not extravagant in any way though.

We didn't use the pool nor the beach; which is located in back of the hotel on the lobby level and didn't look like anything to write home about.

No bathtubs.

we had a huge balcony while my friend didn't.

Has a Starbucks type of place in the lobby and a competent concierge.

Parking (which is valet) is 20-40 a night iirc

My bill was a few hundred dollars more than expected at checkout which had to be adjusted... I reserved through Priceline or the like.
