Anyone have experience with UBER SUV from here. Trying to figure how available they are around late afternoon time.

Ha! I just found my invoice and we actually did stay in Room 1029! Yes, really nice room but again very far walk

Hysterical, We didn't mind the walk, it added to the activities everyday.

Great pics!

Lol, better than this:

So I was on the same DL 1109 and had the same experience with the "fruit bag". My wife kids and I just looked at each other, shrugged, and went onto the sandwiches we made for ourselves before the flight.

Reading that thread just makes me want to slap people though....ugh...The throwing around of Anti-antisemitism is ridiculous. grow up people, I don't think the DL catering department is out to get us.

Great report.

I had room 1029 a few weeks ago. Good suite in a quiet section of the hotel.

Just had the "pleasure" of enjoying a Borenstein tuna sandwich on the DL JFk-SEA route in the back of the bus. I think it was tuna? Was it? Most the challah had nothing on it and the part that did had a funny colored slop that they said was tuna. The FA attendant actually said good luck as she gave it to us.

I am not the first and definitely not the last to complain about Borenstein but the balls they have to serve something like that to a human being is embarrassing. Would have preferred a Saran wrapped banana. If I remember, I will grab a pic on the return flight.

We took a regular room with 2 queen beds because I was told all the suites only came with 1 king bed.

Thanks for the reply. I am figuring throwing one kid on a cot and the other on the couch.... let's see how that plays out.

I had 2 adults and 3 kids.  I didn't have an issue but didn't point it out either.

Suite or regular room and if Suite, just wondering how the sleeping arrangements worked?

2 adults and 2 kids in a Suite at the GHK, does the front desk give you any issues because of occupancy limitations? The lady on the reservations line said they might??

Inside the volcano is great and I think everyone should do it. I laughed so hard when we got there after the mile hike, in the middle of nowhere.....and probably the best WIFI you will ever find!!

I went out with my wife tonight and went to 6-7 restaurants. Each one was louder than the one before. Not sure if it was because it's the end of the school year or it's always like that (never noticed it so loud before and I've been eating out here for about 8 years).

Holy Schnitzel takes the cake as the loudest establishment around here. Food is great but because of the damn venting system you can't hear a darn thing.

Ya ok

Would we like to offer more to this conversation?

The people that have it, and believe this will be the next big thing in the neighborhood

3 partners, They already own a successful place and have been int eh industry for a while now. Menu looks good so lets see what happens. As long as they come out of the gate consistent, they should be OK.
