What a ridiculous comparison....
please explain to me why the rich can fress with the roshei yeshivas watchful eye but regular ppl can't listen to music on a Thursday night and eat chulent? And don't give me the night seder reason, a. It's up to each person to decide if he wants to go to seder b. The trip to Europe spans quite a few sedearim in that case.
I don't care if rich ppl wanna go on a trip, but to do everything in the name of yeshiva so now it's almost a mitzvah is wrong.

No one seems to realize that while this was assured at the same time there is a group of people which includes one of the roshei yeshiva enjoying a nice trip to Europe in middle of the zman. The food on that trip looks quite the fressing type.

What are the laws regarding salaried vs. hourly employees in NY?

Is pay allowed to be docked if I'm short on clocked hours one week?

I feel this is unfair since I will work OT on other weeks without getting the OT pay an hourly employee would get...
If you are salaried then the company must pay you the same amount regardless of the amount of hours worked, but they can require you to use PTO hours for missing hours, although if you no longer have PTO left they still have to pay the same amount. Sounds confusing cuz it is. You may think I can take off all year and they have to pay me but the employer does have the right to fire you for not performing your duty. From personal experience alot of people don't realize this and employees on salary often get pay deducted illegally.

They should have just called it a fundraiser for some charity and then all is muttar (Even fleishig in the 9 days) that was the only mistake here.

How is this different than the Yankees having a no beard rule and the Army having their own hair regulations?
This thing was blown way out of proportion for no reason at all. Per my wife, her school had these rules 20 years ago in Brooklyn. Can you imagine what would happen if someone videoed a chassish school! All of a sudden my frumkeit has to be everybody's frumkeit on the same exact level.
Seems like the general societys way of thinking is rubbing off on us as well.
(in this case, the ruler was brought by the parent)

Looking for an HONEST car mechanic in Lakewood who can go to a dealer to test drive and take a look at a car for me?
most dealers let you take the car off the lot to a mechanic. Don't know of any mechanics that will go with you to a lot unless you want to pay for their time...
I took my car to ventus (been using them for years and find them honest imo) for a full checkup for $100 and they do a thorough check up of the car. I believe most local places do the same thing.

we know that would NOT be Moshe Rabeinu's response, nor any other real leader, Rebbe,
In Moshe Rabbeinus times beis would give malkus with 2 edim and hasraa or makus mardus in other cases. One underlying issue in this generation is that people don't take responsibility for their actions. Chas Vshalom to discipline a child in yeshiva these days...
My Rosh Yeshiva used to quote either the Chazon Ish or the Steipler (don't remember which) that we should teach children the concepts of schar vonesh and not be worried about scaring the child off learning about hell.
This doesn't mean to say that we should kick all bad kids out of school but we can't always baby everyone all the time and sometimes you need to put your foot down and accept that people make their own choices.

cant believe that people are stealing from the government, and even worse from the rest of lakewood
everyone pays more taxes because everyone is on programs.

maybe now the taxes will go down?
most programs are state level and has nothing to do with local real estate taxes.

Miles aren't taxable, why would they go after that? Unless you are referring to a mileage broker who makes money on the spread...
