The amount of people killed in mass shootings in the US, doesn't even come close to a fraction of the number of lives that could have been saved if citizens were allowed to have guns during the holocaust. It's delusional to think that another holocaust can't happen.

Homicides declined in the US too.
 What doesn't go that far?

Stop with the Holocaust nonsense. You can't think that the government can ban Jews from buying guns in a holocaust era?? And do you really think a few guns can out number a country against you?

Btw even “the great one “ agrees on a ban of automatics....gotta give him credit for that

Haven't listened to radio for more than 10 years. Is that Mark Levin? But Idon't think it should stop there. We need to ban all guns, but it's a step at least in the right direction.

What more do you need then looking at Canada or UK??????? Why do they have MUCH less murders?

This non sense mentality especially in the frum commumity mind is because the main radio stations in the NY tri state are loaded with the Rush Limbaugh's and Hannity's, and we all listen to them all day, so we have no idea that they go home and laugh from us stupid people. They do it for entertainment and we take them literally for what they say.

Of course we are all hard core right wingers until it comes to our section 8 and food stamps......

STOP the guns once for all.

I know this was answered already but just wanted to add.

When I train lifeguards I always tell them you may meet a macho lifeguard that'll tell you he's saved 10 kids from drowning and how amazing he is. I tell them that in 10 years of guarding I have never saved anyone from drowning, because I never let my pool be in a situation where someone would be drowning.

The best lifeguards know when a drowning would occur and do everything they can do avoid being in that situation. Same thing with a test in Judaism. We build "fences" around the Torah in order that we shouldn't come to be drowning.

Agree 100 percent.

Unfortunately in today's world we try to make everything fit in a box, so how can you even think about segregating the 2 sexes.....

Go on the marirage forums and you'll see thousands of posts of spouses being afraid that their spouses is cheating on them when they travel away for company business or similar. BH in the fum Jewish world most people are VERY comfortable when their spouses travel,  because we know  that no cheating will occur.

No system is 100% fool proof, but I know well in my heart that this system works best. As you can see that in the secular world where you do have the opportunity to date for years, the average Joe still has more than 7 partners in their lifetime. This tells you something.

I'll let you know in a month if I go.

btw, it's definitely doable. You take the airport express train that takes about 10 minutes to the city center (admiralylT if I remember correctly the name) then you take a taxi which is around 5 minutes. I would still call them to tell them.

I think it’s worth a try, but the tight security may prohibit entry into the JCC building with luggage.

Incorrect. I entered the building with luggage.

The way how I see it why it's more a Jewish issue then a secular issue is because in the Orthodox Jewish world we approach marriage in a formal way and there is no REAL connection before marriage. In the secular world you can just fall in love with somebody for no good reason, and of course, you fall OUT fo love faster for that same reason. An average Joe has 7 partners in his lifetime.

Yes, right away when they pickup. If they insisit, then talk to them and ask for a senior rep. or supervisor when they decline you.

There are 2 positions in that department. You need to ask for a senior rep. Most reps that answer calls are just front liners.

And of course, they MESSED up royally here.

The price I was quoted they said included a $2K incentive which I am not eligible, so my price went up from $410 to $499. They did offer me a $300 check as a courtesy.

What bothered me however was that they did pull my credit, and they told me that they didn't. Woke up to 2 alerts today, and they pulled it twice. One from CREDCO and one from ALLY.

I think they are not ready for prime yet.

I'm going through the lease process now. They sent me an email that the vehicle is available and they are waiting for credit approval from Ally bank. So far everything looks good.  I'm curious if they will mess up in the middle somewhere or this will be a painless experience.

So far, their price is the best there is. I shopped with another 3 dealers, and their price is like $100 lower than the lowest competitor.

Am I the only one who sees no value in the so-called "RELEASED MEMO"? I hope that not all "secrets", are as "secretive" as this memo :-)

When on my computerif you put in http://192.168.1.254/cgi-bin/home.ha you log in to my modem/router.  On that page it says clearly what the wifi password is.  I would like this hidden!  Does anyone know if there is a way to do that?
Thanks

You can only see it because you are connected and you KNOW the password. Nobody can see it if they can't connect :-)

What is the interview like? Intense?

Just a look in your eye kind of interview. Nothing major.
