They have raised their non member prices in most markets to triple the price, once the promo ended. Flights now that are half hour going for $500+ a seat.
I think that's only on the XO Jet flights.

General Discussion / Re: Car Lease Master Thread
« on: January 17, 2016, 12:41:05 PM »
Same question, but with a lot less left (4 payments on an Altima). Several lease places told me they couldn't do anything for me despite being way under the mileage allowance because for whatever reason, the residual was set very high. Any creative suggestions?
From what I understand the two ways to get out of a lease are and buying it out. works well if your got a good deal on your lease and are making low payments.
Buying out works well if you got a bad deal and are making high payments therefore you've payed off a lot of the equity value left in the car so a dealer would be willing to buy you out.

Anyone here for the summer?
I'm in Vail for the next week plus.

I was by pessach programm of galitzky and was very disapointed
His hotel is in maloja and not st. Moritz, that's about a 15 minute drive. Really a bad marketing lie!

Wengen has stunning views and the host is known to be good

I don't think you will get 'kmr' food anywere in the alps, as people don't go for that to the alps, so no one wants to do it and charge the price tag, that comes with it
Both of those are 3 star hotels as opposed to KMR.

So what's the best Kosher Hotel in the world, with the best food, KMR?
They are not having a program this August.
They are also not technically a hotel not more like a tour operator but they do run a 5 star program in 5 star hotels.

Netzer now owns his own hotel which is open all year.
It's not a five star hotel but it's fairly nice from what I hear. Although it's pretty difficult to get to it's gonna be at least 2 ground hours after you land potentially more.
I've been looking for a kosher 5 star option this summer now that it seems KMR won't be doing anything this August.
Although I haven't come up with anything yet.

Just get the new phantom 3 for $999. Looks sick

A stabilizer plus go pro will probably cost you as much as one with a camera and that way you'll have wifi video streaming.

I'll pay $125 for the Ritz night.

Goods For Sale/Trade / Re: Hyatt Awards And Upgrades Master Thread

Unless something recently changed, it is difficult to find award space at the Park Hyatt NY. It took a long time for me to find availability. If you have a counter-offer feel free to make it...
$150 a night  and only if your room has a free cancellation policy.

Where is there no mikva or acceptable body of water? Talking about a specific place?
You can't think of anywhere?
First thing the comes to my mind is Machu Picchu,  Peru.

Of course, using the directions on Chabad's site makes it impossible to find the place.

(Why don't they simply embed a google map??)

Anyway, here is Chabad of Downtown.

--St. Regis is a 9 min walk.
--Fairmont is a 20 min walk.
--Park Hyatt is a 27 min walk.

And here is Bet Yaakov Chabad House.
Cause they can't use Google products...... Be prepared to use Bing maps or something else.

Up In The Air / Re: Is United MileagePlus about to go down the tubes?!

United currently values points at .035 cents.  A $4000 biz class ticket USA-TLV would only be 114,285 points.

Currently that same award will cost you 160,000 points.
Values points ≠ Sells points.
