The fact that you bold the amount of guns and not the mental health issues shows your myopic POV.

If he's stable, six guns are fine.

If he's dangerous, one is too many.

Let me ask you, how many did he use when he actually murdered people?

It's these sort of inanities that preclude a serious discussion.

that's exactly the point. Anyone who meets the criteria of what I wrote and also owns 6 guns and assault rifles at age 19, along with his mental-history diagnosis has several red flags. Of course even one gun is too many. Even more so, owning this many guns and assault rifles at this young age without any living parents or adult supervision points to deep mental health issues with his cutting, high school expulsion at age 19, and 39 FBI visits, etc...

Here's a stat, this doesn't differentiate between - 21 and 21+,still hard to question the sanity of these
" one in five 18- to 29-year-olds (21%) say they own a gun"

" a gun" is one thing. However owning 6 full-sized guns/assault rifles at the age of 19 together with a history of self-cutting, autism, and zero parental supervision plus not completing high school is a recipe for disaster. These are documented facts.

What would it help? All it takes is 1 gun. There are plenty of other people with many guns, who don't go around killing.

doubtful that there are 18 yr olds who have purchased 6 guns/assault rifles who are sane and competent. Shocking that this is allowed. He didn't even complete high school.

whoa: He legally owned these 6 guns. This is not self-defense. This is a violent 18 yr old. Do they show their gun purchase history when they buy a new gun? The pharmacy has a record of your medications. Easy for guns, too: http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/broward/article200735914.html

There are no details of what she does with the info, so sounds like magic to me. Either she's naturally really good at classroom management, and this is her unique tool, or she should immediately quit and right a detailed manual/book outlining her methods so that others can implement them.

i have done similarly for several years as a teacher:  by making "chavrusa" learning for 30 min a day with weekly/monthly changes to include the less-popular students learning with the more popular students. This increases the less-popular student's self esteem, and it also reinforces practice by the more popular students to include and to be aware of all peers -- even if they are not usually friends during other classes.

No matter what your stance on gun control js, there should be no reason for a 19 year old to be able to obtain a gun. They're just not mature enough.

...and he was 18 when he bought it. No dad, and his mom had died. Zero supervision. Mental health risks. FBI visited his house 39 times. Where is our high-tech communication...?...

General Discussion / Re: Sous Vide Master thread

Join kosher sous vide on Facebook. Hella ton of knowledge there. Right @usbdadude? Sear after cook then back in bag and water till ready to eat. Couple hours extra won't kill it-1
Sousbvide followed by roaring sear is so much better. Correct. In general most of the sous vide time is. Ot about getting the temp but getting the consistency. Weight. Steak rule is an hour plus an hour per inch of thicknessSousbvide general rule is nothing in the bag except salt and maybe pepper. Can have weird flavors. London broil (fake name btw) is usually about 131x8 to 12
The steak I'd do the 1 hour plus 1 hour per inch:

excellent group. The information is helpful, the ingredients are kosher, and people will answer questions, as well.

cool that he has a tribute wall. Mr. Jessy is the coach who arranged a basketball team with a 9th grader Tamir Goodman. Link to online Tribute Wall: http://www.beatty-richfuneralhome.com/notices/Carl-Jessy

After violating rule 50 with the Samson helmet, I spray painted over my spikes which had "im tirtzu" and "am Yisrael Chai" on them with spray paint.  Those were also rule 50 violations. Basically as a zionist I was a walking rule 50 violation.  Breaking rule 40---that'd have been the icing on the cake :p

some muscle guy breaking down pillars; can't that just be an athlete? Who says that it's a Samson guy?

Wiki added.
That looks about accurate.
+1

just change #7 to age 25 and that will eliminate the cause of the majority of the mass shootings in the USA.

No argument to any of that, but I do think it's a bedieved situation if things don't work out within a couple years in the shidduch system.

in the past, most singles were in the shidduch system for an average of 1-3 years.

Currently, there are singles searching for 2-10+ years.
