Any eat in options?
There is sleep-in, so I'm sure they can accommodate an eat-in request.

You can reach out to them and ask.

BTW, on hunter in January you can get a free full mountain ticket if you bring someone who buys a beginner package ($80 for 1 day, $140 for 3)

So busy with Amex offers that I let my Blanche go to 85% on a card (which I also may be an AU on more than once)
Whoops!

And last month I had this doozy that should update any day. This is probably the real killer....

Unfortunately, Rapid Rescore is only available to mortgage services... at least officially.

Semi-Update #1:
It WORKS!!

The attached score from Credit Karma is FAKO, but it's just illustrative of the 1-day jump that is possible. The Fico score jump was equally impressive, just not as well illustrated.
Semi-Update #2:
FICO Score Update: EX 651 to 728 in 2 days, mid-cycle.
This still has 2 balances that are not yet zeroed out, so it should go up higher soon.

Putting on tefillin has become the new davening. And even that is eroding.
An older Chassid once told me:

In previous generations, people used to to "off the derech".
In our generation, every year the derech gets a little bit wider...

It seems that the Rapid Rescore is more than just another hard pull.
As described by several websites who provide reports to lenders:
Source 1 | Source2 | Source 3

Rather it sound's like it is able to update your balance (or other info) with the CRAs without waiting for the Lender to do so, based on sending them proof that the balance was actually lowered.

I can see many times where this can be useful if you need to get you Util down fast.
Have you ever heard of this?

Semi-Update #1:
It WORKS!!
Utilization went down from 70% to 2% in a day.

The attached score from Credit Karma is FAKO, but it's just illustrative of the 1-day jump that is possible. The Fico score jump was equally impressive, just not as well illustrated.

The lender sent a form to fill out, where you specify what information to update for each account.
For each account that you want to change, you need Letter from the Creditor with the Account Number, and exact details of what info needs to be changed (E.G. Balance is $0).

Usual processing time is 72 hours, but for Zeroing balance, it takes less time. So far only TransUnion updated the balances the same day.

Now I got it. The most recent vid is of the article 12 skills in 12 months. I didn't watch it, and at face value it looked like it was only about chess. My apologies.
Np.
The "12 skills" article may not have been directly written from that video, but the "2008" article...

Then it's not the main article. But what does it have to do with this thread?
True

Not much, though I guess it does have to do with a "funny / interesting " video, in some sense.

Oh, I thought you were referring to @Zalc 's first sentence.

I don't know about his second, he was probably talking about the original North Korea documnetary by Steve Wilde.
I made a mistake, I was referring to the article about the 2008 financial crisis, and "those who saw it coming"

XKCD is the internet version of New Yorker cartoons - you pretend to get them to appear all intellectual.

On that note, here is a New Yorker Cartoon from 1993, that seems to have aged well:

I clicked one of your links and it says they can update balances on current accounts which I had never heard of.  I didn't think anyone could mess around with a current open creditor other than the creditor themselves.
Check this out:
http://credit1400.com/RiskReScoring.htm

There are many others like it.

They update the CRA directly based on a letter you send them from the creditor stating the info you need changed.

Your credit score is a snapshot in time.  A rapid rescore really means your lender pulls your credit again (for a new snapshot at a new time) and sees your most recent snapshot.  The CRAs nor your lender have any bearing when your other creditors report your updates.

Regardless, i believe its initiated by the lender.

It seems that the Rapid Rescore is more than just another hard pull.

I am only hesitant because there are no mentions of it here, and only 1 (in 2011) on CB

A prime example why to always keep your credit files optimized
+100

In this case, you never know when a business lender will decide to check your personal credit...

Regardless, there were high balances that have been paid off, and I got zero balance letters for all of those accounts.

Does anyone here have experience using Rapid Rescore?
Are there any reputable ways to get it done not directly through our lender?
(cost is not an issue in this case)
