Just be aware that you can use one ravkav for multiple passengers if you start on the bus, but not if you start with the light rail.  If you start a 90 min period on the light rail, you need a separate rav kav for each pax.
i enjoyed reading that thanks!

Up In The Air / Re: United premier status without flying

Another benefit for United Elite members is that if they spend $25K in a year on the card it will waive the requirement to spend $2.5K on United flights to get Silver status, $5K on United flights to get Gold status, and $7.5K on United flights to get Platinum status. You only need to fly the 25K, 50K, or 75K miles like in the good old days.

What does this mean then? From DDMS.
in order to obtain stauts you need both flying miles and PQD Premier Qualifying Dollar (money spent on flights only.)
There is no way to avoid the flying miles requirement
But in regards to the PQD you can either change your address to out of the US and it's waived all the way through to premier 1k (where normally 12k is required)
Or spend 25k on your united card and have the PQD waived up to platinum.

thanks.
do you know any of the hotel rates for the breakfasts? either prima kings, plaza, or waldorf?
Waldorf is either 150 or 180 iirc.
Not worth it IMO,
also worth checking out is the orient hotel not sure about hechser but great breakfast

I know this doesn't work on united.

Thanks , I click on the app to download it and I see about the review i left ,going back over a year ago.LOL
And yes I see that rate, but I'm sure they going to rack up a bill on taxes?
it's an all inclusive price.
You just hand over the voucher and that's it.
I've used the app quite a few times and never had an issue in regards to price.
