They never pulled his report (apparently) so that won't work.
Oh so then I guess it didn't hurt that he applied

yes. But extremely rare.
Seems they didn't pull anything as I assumed, so recon won't help, all you have to is PC to the freedom, wait 2 days or so, and reapply.
You can product change, wait 2 days and then call recon... They won't see a Sapphire anymore and therefore they won't have a reason to decline and you can possibly get approved on that phone call. (Personal experience)

2 personal, 1 biz.
1 personal is already approved.
Update all 3 approved after a few HUCA

And no issues for the AH?
Haven't heard of any issues

Buying 1 hyatt SUN night for March 13th? $280 obo

And upon arrival there were no issues with using the e-certificate?
Haven't heard of any.

Have you personally done this?
Yes, sometimes they do it automatically, or you can ask, I guess it depends on the rep now.

There is. One in Colombo and the other is currently in Hikkaduwa until Pesach. They'll then be moving to Arugam Bay

The AH has to be the primary guest when you book with certs.
Not true anymore, it used to be like that you can ask them now to make you the primary

I vaguely recall hearing there's another chabad elsewhere in Sri Lanka.

Agree with location re: shuls and kosher restaturants but it's on the main road and noisy. Rooms are small and "new lobby" doesn't have more than a few seats just a large central table with some office chairs
Wouldn't go back unless I have to use Marriott points AND stay in Sea Point

The junior suite  is pretty good and luxury suite is very nice.
