When you send money, there are two tabs; Purchase and Personal.

Click on personal, then fill in "Gift"

I instruct everyone who sends me money to do it that way. Sometimes they are ignorant and end up sending the regular method which I need to pay %.

when i was in office max last week buying the gift cards, one of the options at checkout was google wallet. just wave ur phone and....

so i guess they gave a few weeks for everyone to sign up and use it and spread it, and now they will push it at cc registers at stores

There are no fees if you send from your paypal account or bank account, but there are fees if you send from your credit/debit card. Please CMIIW.

Is anyone trying to send $ from a Visa Gift Card? It appears that the waiting for the 1.00 temporary fee to go back on the card no longer works. Now you have to send 1.00 less than the gift card value. Also, factor in transaction fees if anyone paying that.

Anyone know what I can do to get the $1's left on the many gc I own?

Only way I can think of is... wait for the authorization to go away, and use AP with fake exp trick? Might not be worth your time... depending on the value of your time of course.

I will try that trick to see if it works. Probably not worth the effort though.
