Got a long way to go for that. Between the four petitions I see (all of them in the top nine) they have close to a hundred thousand signatures! (though I guess the four petitions can have repeat signatures). Looks like we know what is on the average Americans mind.

Well, technically, Holder has nothing to do with this case. Just because some people want him to launch an investigation into the alleged improprieties of the trial judge does not mean he has to. As has been mentioned elsewhere on these forums, there are three sides to a story: his side, their side and the truth.

Hopefully the petition will gain some traction, and an objective look into the facts will be made.

I think people have a right to be annoyed at Holder at this point. He has received many personal letters from prominent politicians and has yet to respond to any of them. Being that he is 'in charge' of all prosecutors, you would think that when so many congressmen and senators ask for an investigation he would at least issue some response (at least to explain why he feels that there's no investigation neccesary). To simply ignore everyone and remain silent is definitely felt as a snub.
