I think it's a bit scary how sincere he seems. If I didn't know better, I would actually believes he cares about us, and that he would remain committed to us even after we elected him.

I think it's incredible that he had the gall to recently criticize the GOP presidential contenders by saying that, "You want to be Commander-in-Chief? You can start by standing up for the men and women who wear the uniform of the United States, even when it’s not politically convenient.” (referring to the fact that they remained silent when a crowd booed a gay soldier).

This, coming from the president who, quoted in the same article, said (regarding gay marriage), "it's pretty clear where the trend lines are going."

He doesn't support the causes that are generally the headliners for the democrats/liberals, because he's afraid of political repercussions.

Don't agree with him most of the time, but I think he means well, and is doing the best he can. Frankly he is a lot less scarier than most of the current GOP nominees.

I don't think he means well. I think he's doing what he's always done (and done well) - making himself sound good and kind and sincere, without actually doing very much.

Uhm, when he earns one? Just because someone gets elected president does not mean they know how to be a president, unfortunately.

I guess you're going to vote blue in 2012?
