Gmail stopped any new iPhone users from connecting their Gmail through exchange. So when I got a new phone last week it didn't let me reconnect
But that is because Gmail
So I don't see why I it wouldn't work for your secureserver

If I'm wrong anyone feel free to correct me as I would love to use Gmail through exchange

I believe they stopped working through exchange now. You have to do it through gmail and add contacts a different way.

Is there an app/option for a child lock? Meaning everything would work normally but you can't delete any apps and you can't make any phone calls?

Go to settings, general, restriction turn restrictions on meaning it would require a password for deleting apps don't see any thing for phone calls though.

I'm a big fan of Pocket (formerly save it later). It lets you save webpages for later viewin even without connection. Anyone like intapaper over Pocket?

No my friend, clearly you didnt follow my advice or understand. This brings google NOW  to ios google now is amazing it blows Siri out the water. It responds instantly to your questions and understands every word you tell it and transcribes on the fly. To top off it saves little cards for your in the app with the things you normally ask it updating itself automatically....

Installed it and simple test.
I said "Wikipedia Latte" - was there in an instant.
Then tried it with Siri.
First try with Siri - got the גלגל החוזר and then it searched wikipedia for "mate".
Second try with Siri - got the גלגל החוזר and then it searched wikipedia for "Lochte".
