You have to do a $20 transaction. That's going to be $3600 swiped. & at 10 different locations. They could've made it a little simpler.

As pointed out above, it's hardly that simple.

Unlike US SBS, you have to spend $20 and only get $5 back (for a total of $2700 out of pocket), whereas we spend $25 (last year $10) and get it all back. $0 out of pocket.

In addition, you have to do 10 transactions at ten DIFFERENT locations to get the full $50 credit, where US' version only need a single one.

In order to maximize the full $900 on 18 cards, you'd have to swipe a total of 180 times.

Will just pay a bit up front, tuitions, store bills etc.

it's not online. You give the merchant the cc info & he charges it.

You can use the card anyway you like...
As long as it will land your card with a $20 charge from a small business merchant, you will get the statement credit.
[If doing online, just make sure the merchant processes transactions under their name, and not through Paypal etc.]
