If you want soup in the CCR they may well tell you that they don't have kosher soups - they are not 100% wrong there because they don't store any of the kosher soup in their kitchen (which is shared with Galleries First). That’s very interesting.
Unlike the OU, the LBD does not always require their symbol to appear on the package to ensure the authenticity of kashrut therein.
My suspicion is that the item is indeed kosher by the LBD (assuming it is included on their list on the website) and that the company just made a mistake (autocorrect?) when printing the label.
Could be, although it is kind of strange to have autocorrect on a logo, you would think the logo would be given as a '.gif' or some sort of pic file not a text file...I think it is kosher but don't understand how this error came about.

The Art and Lounge in EWR did not let me in with my priority pass at approxomitely 5:30 pm. They said it was too crowded because of El Al and they would let me in if I had an Elal Business class ticket, but not with Priority Pass. I couldn't find anything on their site permitting this shenanigans. Does anyone know if they were allowed to deny me entry?

I believe it's on PP website. They usually have some sort of disclaimer.

I checked the art and lounge page on PP website and there's no disclaimer there.
Maybe there's a generic disclaimer hidden in some T&C for all lounges.

I'm not sure where I saw it, but as a general rule, always assume that any PP lounge has the right to refuse you. This is discussed at greater length in some of the other lounge threads, although I don't remember where exactly. These are a few to start with: CSR Benefits thread, and Priority Pass thread

Using our Lounges

Why have I been denied access to a lounge on the Priority Pass program?
We apologize for the inconvenience. Sometimes lounge operators will impose restrictions based on lounge capacity, to ensure guests have a pleasant experience.

Kosher food is available at BA's lounges at LHR as follows:
T5/T3 Galleries Club: Bagel/panini and/or soup.

T5/T3 Galleries First: Main course, usually a choice of salmon, chicken stir fry or meat balls (sometimes changed to spaghetti bolognaise).

T5 Concorde Room (CCR): Same as First, but they will also bring soup from the Club lounge if asked, and can also do a plate of plain smoked salmon (with a slice of lemon) on request. Just make sure you stress that you ONLY want the smoked salmon, otherwise they will bring cooked cherry tomatoes or other stuff with it. They will also mix cocktails using Grey Goose vodka instead of the non-kosher Ciroc (Bloody Mary and Cosmopolitan) if asked. The staff in the CCR are very helpful.

Galleries First and the CCR also have a kosher breakfast option: omelette or 'frittata' with stuff which is supposed to make it look like a "full English Breakfast" - meaning it has a copuple of rather poor Tivall sausages included. But the rest of the stuff is OK.

The arrivals lounge only carries the kosher breakfast.

Plain salted Kettle chips are kosher. If you want any for the flight ask at the lounge as they only carry two non-kosher flavoured version on the aircraft. Also, in the CCR you need to ask at the bar for them in the packet otherwise they will (helpfully) open the bag into a pretty china bowl for you.

Nothing kosher per se at EWR, but the staff there will bring you some sliced fruit if asked nicely (epspecially if you are in First).

How do I get kosher food at BA LHR?

A few small points I remembered:

To get a kosher meal in the Galleries lounges you need to get one of the servers and ask them to check what kosher meals are available. In the Concorde Room (CCR) you go to the dining area reception desk and ask there, or you can ask at the bar, or indeed ask any of the staff who tend to float around. If you want soup in the CCR they may well tell you that they don't have kosher soups - they are not 100% wrong there because they don't store any of the kosher soup in their kitchen (which is shared with Galleries First). However, if you ask them to check with their supervisor whether they can bring it for you from the Galleries Club lounge they will always manage to arrange it.
