Rented twice with budget, two terrible experiences.

1. Arrived at 2.30 am as per RSVP and no car available, even though prepaid. Refused initially to give us any other car besides our RSVP even though there were none (SUV). They told us to wait in cold in middle of night with 3 kids, after half hour the agent agreed to give us another class car.
This was a 7 months  ago, received $50 voucher and $25 return to CC

2. A couple weeks ago, returned car at 6am... No body to check in, only agent by the desk... Just looked at CC statement and online... The car wasn't 'checked in' for three days and I got a charge of >$400.
CS is not open now, anyone have experience with this?
I did mention this today on review and email to CS.

The reason I didn't notice earlier on 2 was it was a prepaid RSVP to initial charge was already there.

Wow. Classic car rental horror story. You should be able to fight it easily, though. Especially, if you could show them you flew back that day.

I had two very good experiences with Budget. In general, I've noticed that, at least, with the national car rental agencies, these types of stories, are branch specific, and are not a result of corporate policy and outlook. Certain branches are more likely to mess up and/or treat customers like garbage.

2. Resolved, received an updated e-receipt.
    Just don't understand how they did that. According to customer service, they only checked in the car 10 days after I dropped it off and manually entered an extra three days.
