Physical buttons? Like a BlackBerry? Or touch screen buttons? And a full keyboard or the T9 keyboard(like a flip phone?)
Real buttons, T9.

I currently have on sprint lease a samsung galaxy S7, I'd like to switch to Verizon unlimited

however as the S7 wont work on Verizon i'd have to take out a new lease,

so should i wait 2 months for the new Iphone /pixel phones to come out or lease one of the current phones (i'm not particularly impressed with any of them)

Have a Nexus 5x, 3 months out of warranty. Started going into a boot loop, which is a known issue for the 5x. Got project fi to replace the phone for me.

If you don't like anything out now I'd wait.

New iPhone won't be out for a while, probably not until 2018.

Galaxy S4 Zoom? Nokia has a phone with big zoom as well. Couple years old. Shouldn't run you too much.

LG G6 can probably be found close to that for a slightly used one.
Used Pixel

Is this a thread where I can get help choosing?

Have Galaxy S5 with VZ but no upgrades allowed, so I need to buy outright. Not interested in shelling out big money for the newest flagship phones (although if another $324 deal for S8 came along I'd grab it), so looking on ebay. Trying to decide between an S7 or a Pixel which would let me use Fi on my rare international travels. It seems like either one could be had in B+ condition for <$250.
I'm an optimist; but only because life isn't going to give me any other good choices.

I don't have a strict budget, but $250 is where my head is right now. Not because I know how much I should spend, but jsut because that's the price point I'm seeing on ebay for something that seems to fit my needs. I want a good phone that will give me the functionality I'm used to from an S5, in clean cosmetic condition, for as little as possible. And I'm not in any rush.
