I'd go with the Honor 8.

Do you have any specific criteria?

Not really. Basic web browsing/email. Camera is pretty important. Not a heavy duty user

I'm pretty sure best camera would be the Honor 8.

I switched from the Nexus 5X to the Pixel 2, so far it's a great phone, battery holds all day.

Had to wait about 2 weeks from when I received it till I was able to use it as there was a problem with all screen protectors (Google send the wrong mold so all manufacturers and to redo them), even now I'm going to try #3 and the first 2 we're not good.

Where did you get it from? How much did you pay?

Moto G5 plus $170 with free headphones (32GB/2GB RAM version)
Anyone with experience if the 2GB RAM causes issues with performance?

Currently using the Essential phone. Paid under $200 through sprint promo. It unlocked after being active on sprint for 1 day and currently using it on T-Mobile.  Huge thread on SD about it if anyone is wondering.

I'm very happy with my Moto g5 plus..
Battery, speed, functionality, storage.. except for the camera I'm really not happy with the coloring/lighting and fairly often very pixelated...
Probably going to settle on the G5 plus, $200 from Fry's on Thursday

OK, I'm going crazy.

I need to replace my old Note 4, but I can't seem to find a single decent option with a ~6" screen. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

I mean, seriously. What is it with these darn curved screen? They add zero functionality and don't allow you to protect the screen properly. I drop my phone constantly, and have cracked a ton of screens before I gave up and bought a big case with a fat bumper. Never hurt my screen since. But now with the curved screens, there doesn't seem to be a normal way of protecting against drops >:( >:( >:(.

I'm looking at the Galaxy 8 Plus or the Note 8, but both have those blasted curves. The LG V30 and the Pixel phones have serious screen quality issues, and the Huawei Mate 10 has no 3.5mm port. The One Plus 5T seems like a good option, but it needs to be paid up front which is ridiculous (this may be a slightly hypocritical position, but I think it's nuts how much we pay for phones. Raising your cell phone bill be a couple of bucks a month is one thing, but dropping $500-1000 at once is nuts IM(very personal)O.

HELP!
