Any takers?
Yeah! Got one in the first round of backers...I only hope that it will work (only 2G is supported on it) with T Mobile network...

To the thread's topic:
Using (as my daily driver. I have several other cheap models laying around) now for a year the Lenovo Phab2 on tmobile network, I got it for approximately $180. Now it got some cracks on the screen (still fully usable, but I don't know for how long) so I got a Honor 7X for $199 (plus tax.)
Let us know how you like the 7x when you can.

Of course... Here I am 4 days going with it....

The look and physical feel is extraordinary! Has the trendy almost bezel-less 18:9 aspect-ratio display. The matte-black metal back feels sturdy and premium. (what can be bad with a good copy of the iPhone 6's hardware, which they basically copy, and with even better touch ups...)

Fingerprint sensor, in the middle back of the phone, is fast and never needed a second-thouhgh.

The display is vibrant and can get very bright.

The software...is a bit of a different story... It runs Android 7 which isn't bad (though 8 would've been better...) but their EMUI heavy modified skin is something that....let's just say you gotta get used to it... (here is also basically a copy from iOS, but it's a bad thing...at least for an Android aficionado...)

Performance (so far, but you can't really judge from just 4 days, and not even my full app library loaded...) is pretty decent, but I think that the heavy UI shows its ugly face here as well...the Lenovo Phab2 was snappier.

Over all, this is a nice phone, and extremely well spent $199

Had a great laugh when my brother who has a Galaxy S8 opened two eyes on my phone when I took it out to show him something on it... He was like "WOW, that's a gorgeous screen and phone! What is it?" I told him it costs like a quarter of yours...

Can anyone recommend a phone similar to LG Cosmos/Octane or Samsung Intensity/Brightside for AT&T?

The LG Xpression or LG Xpression 2 are probably a good fit.

From Samsung, there is the Samsung Evergreen A667

Thanks. They both look good. Can you compare them to each other?

(Edits after posting I don't get notified if I'm watching the thread...so either add a new post or mention me...)

The main difference is the form-factor, with the Samsung having the physical number pad and buttons in the front before opening with the LG has a (damn old-style resistive) touch display.

It is a matter of taste, but IMHO physical (so the Samsung) is better.

Can anyone recommend a flip phone for Prepaid AT&T, either w/o internet/text, or with the ability to block it? (TAG couldn't help with AT&T.)
Thanks.

I have been with T Mobile for years, currently all 5 phones are iphones 6S Plus, this is a good promo,  they have another Promo for Pixel, To celebrate the launch of Google’s latest superphones, the Un-carrier is offering $325 – up to 50 percent – back on any new Pixel 2 or 2 XL when you bring it to T-Mobile!
Will you go for the iphone x or pixel 2 or 2 xl?
I was the Best, still the Best, and will always be the Best.

Not sure I am going for anything.

I am not likely to switch permanently to T-Mobile, good coverage is important, and T-Mobile isn’t up there.

I am thinking if/how to game this to get a good deal on an iPhone X. (Though my current thoughts are leaning towards an Apple Watch with cellular, but I might wait for the next iteration).

Can I get the latest info to what you guys are using?
Need a new phone badly, so would like to know which to upgrade to.

If you don't mind to post what phone you're currently using.. Thanks guys.

 Do not want an iphone.

Android only.

 Decent storage/memory.
Sd card.
Aux, headphone jack.
Usb C.
Rounded edges (so I guess the note series are out).
Medium sized screen, not to big.
