kosher wines

I searched the threads and I did not find a similar topic. I would like to get an idea of what kosher wines you appreciate and how much they cost in your area. If you can post sales or specials (especially before Pesach), that would be great!

My go-to bottle these days is a Spanish wine called Peraj Petita. The 2009 is currently being sold in stores, but if you can get a hold of the '06-08, they are better. I can get a hold of this bottle for about $20.

I enjoyed a bottle of Dalton Shiraz (2009) this Purim! It was gr8! It cost $30.

What about you?

Don't believe it includes pricing, but here is a similar thread.

I'm hardly an aficianado, but I've recently gotten into...

Baron Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon Jeunesse.

Cheap and surprisingly tasty.
+1 I see most ppl have very low self esteem when it comes to say an opinion on wine, if you review the thread you'll find most posts start with something like "I'm not a big wine drinker" "I really don't understand, but I like ----"
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

Wine as a hobby or area of expertise is perceived by the general public as a snobbish pursuit. Hence the desire to voice an opinion while avoiding that perception.

I love the Zinfandel Lodi. The late harvest is much sweeter (a dessert wine), but it's very tasty. It's the type of bottle that can be enjoyed by anyone who enjoys fine tasting food/drinks (i.e. no need for an acquired taste). The other Herzog late harvests are also delicious, and I would give special mention to their late harvest chenin blanc (2009), which is delicious!
Another amazing late harvest is Yarden's gewertziminer! It comes in a small bottle (375 ml) and is expensive at about $20 or more, but it absolutely magnificent! It's a sweet ice wine, and as such, is sweet to the point of being syrupy and can be enjoyed in small quantities (sipping). It makes for an excellent dessert wine as well!

That Yarden late harvest is too sweet for my palate. I love the Yarden Mount Hermon 2003. I lso like the purple Gamla.

This wine is a great value, body and flavor is great, but the finish is bitter IMHO.
