head in to Bed bath and beyond with one of their easily obtained %20 off coupons and ask them to match babies r us price

Probably.
Just to note, the store did say that they according to policy they don't honor coupons on top of price matches, but it was a "one-time exception" as we had to wait a while for a manager to approve the price match and coupon.
