I must admit, it was my fault...
My luck was that the person I drove into was another yid who (after I told him I literary just got engaged) wished me mazel tov and not to worry about it !! Definitly one of my better days...  ;)

Someone borrowed oorahs fire truck and hung a big "will you marry me sign on the back".

I personally went out to eat in Manhattan on the 3rd date with an out of town girl, came straight from picking her up from the airport, and when we come back outside to get our car... It was towed... with all of her stuff in it.
SO- we had to spend 2 hours tracking down the car, going to the pound in our Shabbos clothes, sweating buckets (August)...

But we got married :)

my brother in law came out to see his car getting towed. he told the police that he was parked legal, they said that this spot is no parking tonight for whatever reason. there was no way my bro in law shouldve known this. welcome to the big apple.

We had just walked into the Mandarin Oriental elevator.  Drunk guy walks in as well and asks the girl if I'm her boyfriend.
