Well, there is another thread on DDF with pictures and screen names. They don't have to give their real names.

You missed the boat.

If lets say me or you know someone in that picture,  he probably rather post his real name then his screen name.

Whoever would recognize his name would've already recognized him from the picture without him posting his real name. The only anonymous part left to him is his screen name.

well, it's not going to say on the picture because then the picture wil not be legible, so, what they do these days on DDF is write them in the comments following the pic.
also, there is a list of atendees prior to the pic.
