will I receive a card showing my status from them? And if I fly united do i have to put in my dividend number to get the benefits is there any way i can get the miles too my united account?

It should not be a problem when contacting other airlines mileage program, especially the ones that are NOT star alliance.

It doesnt say on your card that you are on trial period.
