Cholent in crock pot next to urn. Cholent needed a splash of water so I shpritzed some cold water from the faucet hose.

A few drops of cholent juice and tiny cholent particles jumped out of crock pot and landed on hot outside side of urn.

Can I have coffee?

If there is shishim in the urn neged the drops you are fine. Regarding using the urn again I need to refresh my memory about a few points if it was not opposite the water. Was it?

IIRC it may matter where the water line in the urn was as apposed to the drops , concerning the calculation of shishim
the is a famous Binas Adam which discusses this

not for the water currently in it. It would make a difference had there been milk in there.

That is referring to using it in the future and is part of what I wanted to refresh my memory about. It is also talking about when there was not shishim in the urn.

If there is shishim and it is not opposite the water I think that it is mutar to refill immediately but need to refresh memory about that.

The rabbi didn't seem to care whether or not it was keneged the water. Didn't even ask.

It was parev water, and less than shishim. Whole issue really gets complicated because of chanan in the walls etc or something. Not here

With less than shishim gets involved in n"t bar n't bishaa's bishul. How much fell on the urn that there wasn't shishim against the meat in the cholent? That doesn't sound like
A few drops of cholent juice and tiny cholent particles
Typically there would be shishim just in the walls of the urn. Even if there were ten drops. How much water do you think you need to reach 600 drops? Had you gather together all of the drops would it have been more than a 1/4 tsp?

If one realized on friday night that he forgot to put his crock pot on low and was cooking on high which caused most of the water to cook out and now he's not going to have no cholent for shabbos meaning just dried beans, can one add water from his hot water urn into the cholent?

It can be done if the cholent is already cooked by holding the pot the whole time going directly into the pot from the urn. Also you can stick something like a fork between the pot and base to keep it cooler. You would need all tna'ey chazara such as a blech or otherwise garuf v'katum.

Is there a problem if all or almost most of the water left the pot?
Also in a scenario when one put up the cholent right before shabbos and now it was completely raw when shabbos came so noone was going to stir it, and now 5-6 hours later when it's nice and cooked can one still add the water?

1. See my edit above.
2. What counts is the way it is at the time it is being done.

Thanks, is this true?
Poskim make an exception for non-adjustable hotplates that can only be used at a single temperature, and thereby do not require any additional covering.
