Can you have an Amazon Echo on in your home on Shabbos if each time you speak it is checking for the wake-up word Alexa?

I would assume it's not aloud as it is a פסיק רישא

You don't need to turn it off before Shabbos, but you musn't talk to it directly on Shabbos.

Five Roses Tea, 100 Tagless Teabags https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003WOTXQI/

Does this tea need a hechsher?

Or better does tea need a hechsher?
seems like there may be kashrus concerns in flavored teas, therefore "requiring" a hechsher.

Any natural or artificial flavors are sensitive ingredients.

Is there a problem owning shares in a company that was founded (and currently about 25% owned and controlled) by Yidden in Eretz Yisroel, which sells Contracts For Difference, and makes money by:

Quote
The "difference" in contracts for difference is the difference between the bidding price of an asset and the asking price. [The Company], like its competitors, sets the quotes for the bid and ask prices, on the basis of market quotes. The difference between the market quotes and the company's quotes is the basis for its success, and the source of most of its revenue. 70% of the company's revenue is the commission (averaging 0.2%) it collects on the spread between the bid and ask price. 20% of revenue comes from premium products (mainly interest on credit that the company extends its customers), and 10% is created when the market performance goes against a customer's position, in which case his loss in the company's gain.

It is to be noted that since CFDs are not legal in Israel or the US, and they therefore do not open accounts for residents of Israel or the US, one could probably assume that the majority of their clients are non-Jewish.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Cfds are definitely traded in the USA. I was on a hedge fund audit who extensively traded them.

(Unless only traded using the offshore fund but I highly doubt it)

Ok, so must of been owned by offshore fund (off shore investors), but managed by USA management office and traded via offshore brokerages.
Cool story that as part of the audit the legality of trading cfds wasn't documented afaik...

They are a painful instrument to test for valuation/unrealized gain btw...

That's an interesting one. I would assume that al pi halacha not, it just fits in with having respect for the place.

When you say "kosel", are you referring to the kosel specifically, or any makom kadosh?

Take shuls, for example. Does your local shul's caretaker cover his head everytime he enters the sanctuary?
