Find Your Credit appID (Recon Purposes)
« on: November 13, 2011, 02:53:13 AM »
Hi,
I believe this thread could be useful for people like me who didn't instantly get approved (3 CHASE CARDS IN MY CASE) and instead of waiting for the denial letter, I would wanna call in the recon department and start working on each app separately since the 3BM and I don't want them to see that i applied for 3 cards in one day.

Does anyone have a number where I can call in and find out my AppID?

I applied for the cards on Friday 11/11 so I guess going back to my web history and view the "source page" won't be an option if I already closed the window.

I called in the Chase Credit card services and they weren't able to obtain the appIDs for me.
Any advice?

Thanks!

I probably would have said the same thing if only I weren't the one on phone for 2 hours this night trying to find out my 3 appIDs..
All I did was asked for a little more detailed as it seems he knows something and he has the option of kindly refuse or ignore.

I didn't have to click the link to know what post you're referring to. The rules are there for everyone's benefit and if noone else will say anything then I will. I typically hold back initially, I even answered this OP's question in another thread, but he's clearly abusing the system if he wants people here to call for him...

Talking about abuse, you're kinda "abusing" the mean of "abuse" :(
I DID NOT ask Saver2000 to call for me and I certainly didn't expect him to reply in the pre-dawn hours..
I felt like he he has the path on how to get I the right department so I took the "currage to ask him for more guidance" perhaps I put in the wrong way by literally asking to give a call. This fellow poster clearly got my point and so should u.

And besides, as far as I know and read about Dan, you clearly won't become a hero in his eyes by reacting rude to noobies and turning his wonderful Chesed Blog and Forum into a Hostile atmosphere.
Instead, you beccome a hero by "Helping People" (and yes, last time I checked, DDF Noobies where also in human/people category...)

Let's (both of us) not get off limit. Id hate to carry on like this. Let's get back into the helping people business.

Thanks for your time and input!

Chas veshulem, I didn't expect a reply before the morning. And I greatly appreciate the time you took to respond in first place. And I didn't for a second blame u.

I still didnt manage to obtain my appIDs.
Places another call this morning w/o success.
Thanks again!

Thanks for your time and input!

1. I'm not trying to be a hero in anyone's eyes, if I was trying to impress Dan I'd pursue other avenues.

2. If you wrote something wrong and I misinterpreted it (due to how you wrote it), don't blame me for not understand what you meant to say.

3. Who are you to preach to me about helping people, I have helped dozens of people here, while you have not one helpful post (unless you consider a link to an article helping someone) and numerous iterations if the same question (which is against forum rules).

4. As I have stated many times, I have all the respect and patience for newbies, and have spend many hours on Skype, BBM, and in person, advising them for free (and not becoming anyone's "hero". What I have no respect for is n00bs. It's a typical n00b move to ask a question that doesn't isn't clear, and when taken literally they shift the blame to the person (mis-)reading their question.

I am all for your call of helping people, but that doesn't mean I'm going to allow my help to be exploited. I respectfully provided multiple responses to your question which were respectful and addressed your questions, so please reconsider your position and try to see things from my perspective.

Alright I finally got to talk to a rep who (with his poor English) explained me that since my 3 apps are pending and under review, there's no way for them to see my AppID.

Is that the dead end which forces me to wait for the denial letters, or is there still something I can do to get the IDs.

From what I read so far, the sooner you call recon the better chances for approval. That's why I'm eager to find that out.

Anybody?

Simply untrue.  I always just wait until their first decision letter comes.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Why do you need AppID for a recon?
