Hawaiin Announces JFK-HNL Service and $212 OW Introductory Fare.

Starting June 4, Hawaiin Airlines will begin daily service between Honolulu and JFK.

As a introductory offer, they are offering $212 OW flights for travel between June 4th-30th, 2012.

RT ticket is not required so there is no minimum stay.

This is also great if you plan on using AA miles internationally.
Being that AA allows a stopover in the gateway city, you can add on a flight to Hawaii and then use the above fare for the return.

THis is so smart on Hawaiian's part, imho...Everyone in NYC wishes they can go to Hawaii, and many go for their honeymoon if they can take the time off(otherwise its usually a short carribean trip). The intro prices seem great too! Just wondering if first class is anything special..doesn't seem like it but perhaps new A330's mean an upgrade...anyone know any info on that? if they are any good, 800 each way is steal for an 11 hour flight in first with the intro rate(which is what I found online)

Hawaiian first is basically domestic fist with a little more legroom.
CO domestic 737 first has a 38" pitch, Hawaiian has 42".  Nowhere near the 55" pitch on the CO flight from EWR-HNL.

It's very good compared to the historical price, but that's been standard of late as UA is trying to force HA off this route.
