Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.


NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

What am I missing? I just searched a flight for Jan from PHL to FLL and it came out to 7500 avios each way is there a devaluation I don't know about?

I have a bunch of Avios and a bunch of Dividend miles which I want to combine to get a US Airways flight.  Do I need to transfer the Avios over, or can I use them as is?  Thanks a lot.

you can't combine the points.

but you can book a US airways flight with the BA miles

651-1151 air miles is 7,500 avios a way..

Searching for a flight which has plenty of AA award availability, but BA says "British Airways does not have traffic rights to operate directly between these two cities." I've never gotten that error before, is it total rubbish?

By me that happened when I was searching  book with money instead of book with avios.

Hi all, as a follow up to a recent post from Dan about BA Avios...

1) I read that when using Avios for domestic travel, it's best NOT to book a lap infant online, and should be done at the airport. Is this the case if Avios were only used for AA flights? (ie., not for flights on BA)

2) Will there be any additional costs from not including a lap infant in my booking, but subsequently bringing the baby on the plane, if I also need to bring a carseat and a stroller? It seems that one can bring both items without additional charges according to the AA website, but I wanted to double check this would still hold true even if I don't book the lap infant in advance.

Not aware of any domestic BA metal flights.

No cost when flying domestic.
