Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Can all this idiotic panic please stop!?

BA's website is cr*p like it always was and always will be. If AA is showing saavor availability then BA can book it even if it's not showing up on BA.com. It will just require you to PUTPAC, wait on hold for 30-45 minutes, listen to a British man hitting his keys harder than a hammer hitting a nail, you feeding the rep the EXACT flight numbers, and asking him to waive the phone fee.

I am explaining to you that the lack of availability is by AA which is definitely a reason to panic for those using BA short haul alot.

That has nothing to do with this thread as that's not a BA problem, it's AA. Get used to it.

Yesterday there was a bunch of availability from YUL to PHL (looked on AA.com) and now there isn't any for months. Is it possible that there's a glitch on AA.com and the flight is still available?

ETA: Took a shot and called BA and was able to book the flight. Guess it was available and AA.com just had a glitch...

Since booking anything on avios website seems impossible now, has anyone had success lately calling Ba to book a flight on AA and also have them waive phone fee?
Sometimes it doesn't pay to save money.

Was always able to get that done. Just had to ask nicely.

"Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA"

I tried booking with Avios 5 tickets on a flight which show up as available on AA"s website (as award tickets), called BA (several times)and they said they only have 1 place available to them. So it seems that there is some capacity control for BA awards on AA.
