Note that all sAAver flights available on AA.com are able to be booked on BA.  When there are many flights on one day, they may not all be listed on BA.com.  So you will have to call to book it.  Get the phone fee waved because it wasn't able to be booked on line.

NOTE: Household accounts will not allow transfers from Iberia to BA. Make sure you don't have a household account, and if you do, split it up.

NOTE: When booking, erase your Avios number when entering your passenger information. This will make it much simpler to add your AA Advantage number at a later time.

Doesn't using the BA cc, thereby earning avios, keep all the avios alive?
I wonder if transferring 1 avio to another account or receiving 1 avio keeps your account open? (from a sibling of yours? )or you can't transfer 1 or 2avios rather they Only allow in a group of 250!?

Im looking to book BA from NYC to Toronto for sukkos but I see no availability in regular economy on my desired travel date and several days in either direction. If I call is there a chance that there are other tickets not being captured on the system?

I'm trying to a book a rewards flight to Europe via TLV. I want to book with Air Berlin via BA website. When I  go to BA's Rewards website the only stopover they give me is in London. How can I i get a stopover somewhere else in Europe?

I know this must have been mentioned somewhere in this thread, but just to save time from reading the past 300+ pages, can someone give me some advice on how best to utilize BA miles?

I have around 100K miles, but can't find any available flights abroad (I've checked Reykjavik, Barcelona, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Berlin).

I figured it out a little ( I'm sure Dan explains this somewhere). BA's search engine is very hard to figure out.
If you want to fly from lets say JFK to TLV via Berlin, you have to search in two separate segments. So JFK to Berlin and then Berlin to TLV. I if you dont do that, then BA with automatically take you through London.

Not true, if he wants a real stopover, its usually better to book each segment separately, that way your ticket won't be cancelled if you miss a flight etc.

Found the flight that I need on AA.com and it has sAAver availability but not showing up on BA.com. Called BA and they're claiming that there are no seats available on that flight and that they can't book it. HUCA?

ETA: HUCA did the trick.
