When reporting a new offer please post here http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=49544.0

To take advantage of an Amex offer, first save the offer to your card, then do the spending. There are a few ways to save offers to your card; http://www.amexoffers.com/ has links to most of them. Depending on the offer and depending on your Amex card, it may be available via none, one or more than one of these methods:

americanexpress.com web site
Log into the americanexpress.com web site. If you get the new version of the site, scroll down to Amex Offers & Benefits at the bottom of the page. If you get the old version, click the Amex Offers For You tab. You can also see on this web site which offers you already saved (even if you saved them via a method other than this web site) and which offers you already redeemed. This method is only available for Amex credit and charge cards issued by American Express.

Saving an offer on AmericanExpress.com to one of your cards will automatically make it unavailable for the rest of your cards linked to the same login. The way to get around this is by opening all of your cards in separate tabs and then saving the offer in each.  **

**Sign into different tabs?!?
Sign onto your Amex account. card #1 is on the page.  scroll to offers. note a good one.
Open  tab 2: amex.com (or with Chrome, right click on the first tab and choose Duplicate) > you are already logged in.> go to my accounts > click on card #2  on the top of the page. scroll to offers. check for same good offer.
Open tab #3. repeat as for tab #2. Repeat as necessary.
THEN: on tab #1 - click 'save' .  Then on tab #2 click 'save' . Then on each tab.
If you so desire: check on each card's 'saved offers' to check that it's there.

This link should take you to the Amex old layout,
which is much easier to scroll down through all the offers.

Amex® Mobile app for iPhone®
This method is only available for Amex credit and charge cards issued by American Express. The login is the same as for the americanexpress.com web site.

Social media
The social media options are available even for cards that cannot have an americanexpress.com login, such as Bluebird, Serve and Amex cards issued by Citi, USAA, PenFed, Bank of America, etc. For social media, first sync your card to your social media account, then save the offer. If you unsync your card after you save the offer, the offer remains saved and you can still subsequently spend and get the credit. Unsync here: https://sync.americanexpress.com/unsync/Index

Facebook
Sync here: https://apps.facebook.com/amexlinklikelove/?extlink=syncHome
To save offers for which there is no Twitter hashtag to cards that cannot have an americanexpress.com login, this may be your only option. After your card is synced, you will see the available offers. You can also see the offers you already saved, even if saved using another method.

Twitter
Sync here: https://sync.americanexpress.com/twitter/Index
If you do unsync and resync multiple cards on the same Twitter account you must change the tweet slightly each time like:
#Amex???
#Amex??? 1
#Amex??? 2
And so on

Dedicated web site for enrollment
Some Amex offers, most notably Small Business Saturday, but also NYC Restaurant Week, Home Depot, Amazon and DirecTV, offer a dedicated web site where you could enter your card information to enroll.

For Bluebird/Serve cards
Amex offers can be saved to the primary account (but not Family Accounts) via the bluebird.com web site. Go to Plan & Manage > Amex Offers. Amex offers can also be saved to the primary account (but not Family Accounts) via the Bluebird mobile app.

I got in touch with amex about the au's situation and they said i will be receiving the credit but the request has to go through the proper departments so will take some time for it to post
At least they're not denying it.  Please post a comment on the main site to update others.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I was told by amex that they do qualify but the credit can take 6-8 weeks to post. He had no answer why the primary got it straight away so I believe this answer wasn't so precise..

I don't remember seeing you thanking Dan anywhere in your posts for the good deals you did in "blind faith".
I think what I meant didn't get properly expressed in my previous post.

What I meant to say was that usually I read through all of the TOC's of stuff before I do them but since I trust Dan so much and appreciate everything he posts I trust that he won't lead me wrong so this time I was in a rush and just did all my cards without even reading anything about the promo or contacting AMEX.  Had I done so I just would at least have an SM or some record of my phone call to show them as proof and get them to honor the approximate 8 cards that I have to hock them for the credits on.

That's because jews are better at complaining.

I SM'd social media, they told me AUs qualify.  I'm not sure what else I could have done.
My sincere apologies I didn't mean my previous post to be a complaint against you rather as a complaint against myself that I got lazy and now it will be more work for me in the long run. I truly appreciate all your hard work, thank you Dan!

Can you post a copy of this SM as proof for all of us who need to get the credits on our AU's. Much Appreciated, Thank you!

besides for the first day, there hasn't been much under $20, u think that was just a way to get ppl to keep on checking their site and possibly buying the expensive stuff or will there eventually be cheap stuff again (cheap is relative, $8 for a bottle opener?!?)

i only bought 2 things so far

$8 for a bottle opener is good enough for me. Assuming $5.95 for shipping, Amex is paying me ~$5 for each of my Amex cards, and giving me a free bottle opener as well.

I gotta say at least vente-privee has good cs. On one of my purchases i noticed after the payment went through that the price was a little bit higher than what it said at checkout, however i didn't care to contact them about it since it was all free anyway. I got an email today apologizing for the $0.55 overcharge, and a credit will be applied to my credit card for that plus a $6 credit in my account to cover free shipping on my next purchase.
Nice of them, although i'm not sure there is going to be another purchase unless this AU thing gets worked out. (I'm still waiting for a reply from SM for one of my cards.)

I don't remember what it was exactly. Something from the baby stuff, I sent it to my sis who just had a baby.
