Pulls from TU in NJ, NY , FL

Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

Hi all,

Just go messed over for the second time, when signing up my wife for the US Airway 40k offer. I think she only received the 10k card that's in the small print.

Anyone ever have luck with having them switch it to the higher card, or at least receive the bonus? I tried it once before with my card, and I think I hung up on them out of frustration.

I never had luck with them upping the offer to what it was supposed to be.

my wife got a 15K+ limit for her US card but they wouldn't split it up to approve the biz card.

they gave me 15K for my US card but wouldn't split it up to give me a choice or wyndham card.

And they wonder why they languish in the basement?

They gave me 25k and open'd a biz card as well (after recon). But I concede, they aren't nice. Just some of us get lucky.
Also, it's one of the easyiest cardsfor a newbie to get. It can be used as a springboard, and it comes with 40 10k miles as well.

I got $10k CL on my first US app, and on the next one I got $10k (and was dumb enough to mention my other app) which was cut down to $1k or something when the phone rep realized I had another $10k approval. Luckily I got the higher bonus on both cards. I did the $10k BT (on both cards IIRC, they moved the CL over so I can do it on the second card as well) to get the extra 10k US and as soon as I paid off the $10k on one of the cards they closed that account...

Just spoke to them, and I was told that the account has the 40k sign-up, so we'll see what happens...
Also, interesting thing happened with my biz card application. Applied at the same time as the personal account and received a rejection. Called them up, was transferred between 5(!) departments until I spoke w/ s/o. They told me it was denied since I had not enough credit history with them. They told me they could do it again, but that since they hadn't pulled my CR, they would need to pull it this time. I debated, and decided to do it.
In the end, they denied me after 20 minutes of arguing since I had opened up some accounts in the last year, and as a result, they wanted to see more of history of paying on time on these accounts. This is despite the fact that there are over 5 years of on time payments on my CR. They wanted to see payments on these accounts specifically.
It also didn't help that I was honest about the biz opening in the last few months.
So either way, a bad waste of a CR pull.

I feel dumb.
I must've signed up for this card a year ago, and had no idea it ever came. Fast forward a year, and I receive an email from them about a $49 charge from the annual fee.
I called them up to cancel the card, and they confirmed to me I had never even activated it. Weird that they never would've sent s/t during the last year to this effect...
