To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

How?
Through spending like the Citi Executive. I just checked, it's 5k EQM for 20k in spend, up to 10k EQM a year. The Citi Executive is simply 10k EQM for 40k in spend.

+1 where I'm from 40k isn't more than 8 trips to Stop and Shop and 20 trips to Walmart. And when you consider the fact that there's got to be 50+ Stop and Shops and 50+ Walmarts within driving distance from where I live, 40k is pretty easily doable in a day, let alone over an entire year.

My wife made reservations for both of us with her ba account . If my aa number is on the reservation under my name, is that enough for free bags, or does her aa number need to be on the reservation?  We both have the Barclays aa card.

Received email from Barclays today

"Spend $2,500 or more on purchases using your AAdvantage® Aviator™ Red MasterCard® each month from December 2015 through May 2016 and you'll earn 30,000 bonus miles. Plus, you'll earn 2X miles for every dollar spent on eligible American Airlines® purchases and 1X miles for every dollar spent on purchases everywhere else which adds up to at least 15,000 AAdvantage® miles."
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Just got what looks like a decent targeted offer:

Spend 2500 each calendar month December through May and get 30,000 bonus.

So basically 3x on all spend assuming you spend exactly 2500 each month.

Too bad youll only get the bonus after the mAAsacre.
