I have done US Air in past in space of 6 months (not 2BM). I had put same FFN both times and have received both times on same FF account. with US Air mastercard, you donot need to create separate FFN account for each application.

Did you have to close your existing account to (re)apply?

No. I didnt close any existing account to get it approved. But I keep all my Barclay credit on Choice Priviledge VISA, which is no annual fee credit card. with Barclay we have limited choice of cards. so I keep all existing credit line on Choice Priviledge. So to get this approved, I had to move some of the CL from that card to get this one approved.

whats Barclays reconsider #? i saw they have a 10%cash back on tarvelocity travel, im considering applying for that, just worry how their approval system works??

866-369-1283. Connects directly to analyst. It works same as any major card. Answer few questions. Be prepared to move CL, if you have open cards. Be prepared to close as well. Good luck.

when you call barclays recon, they pull your experian, besides for the transunion pull they already did.

I did 2 recon early last week and do not have any pulls from experian showing...

My wife and I have each done recons in the last few months; no second pull, only TU. In each case, we used the same FFNs that we used previously; received the 40K bonus miles again.

AND they didn't even end up approving me after all that.

How soon after receiving denial letter did you call in? Maybe it has something to do with the elapsed time between app and recon?

I just did a 2BM for 2 USairways cards- one was automatically approved.

It seems like it would almost be better if it hadn't been because now if I call up won't they deny it because of applying for the same card I have already?

Will telling them I need 2 separate cards work with Barclays?

Did anyone do the balance transfer for 10000 miles? Can you do it if you don't have debt?
