Yeah... it looks like Dan is only positive about lounge access, probably because of the hassle dealing with an incompetent rep an checkin vs when you have ur A3 FF # its hard coded.

Okay, so flashing the A3 Gold card did the job, but now I realize that the agent changed FF # to A3. The flight departed already  if I change the FF now hack to UA will the miles post to UA? Or its too late?

I also called - the greek office is still open ( 30 210 6261 000)-- was  told gold members now will stay gold for  a year and will be down graded after the year is up  --Aegean  will have 3 levels vs. two now -- they will e/m the info in about a month -as I understand you will need "more" to become and keep gold ,sounds like the big party is over --I assume since Aegean is a regional player it still may be easier to get gold then a UA etc 

In greece they have a local bank that offers a credit card that gives 5k sign up --even with that card it does not work for me as i uses points all the time to travel

as far as Olympic Aegean bought them about 2 years ago any that had Olympic miles b4 they were bought lost them
