For future reference here is an update so after MANY HUCAs (20 of them) and after they already put a note on my ticket that I was advised that it can't be done I got hold of a american supervisor who said that its true that you can't change a FFN on a award ticket but she did put a note on the ticket that I'm *AG and that they should over ride the baggage rule and let me take 2 for each passenger the premiere access part would probably be more of a issue but I had a baby so we anyways pre-boarded.
In the airport itself the agent never even saw the note she just saw my card and sent the suitcases right through.
Just one more point at the Dan lounge they were saying that the ticket needs to say *AG in order to go in but after saying that its United's systems fault that they can't change it they let me through.

Just booked a air canada flight with united miles. I called up AC and they were very nice and easy about adding my *AG number tot he reservation. Then they told me that I get 3 70 Lbs suitcases for myself and then for my wife and my baby 1 suitcase each. She was also telling me that as a *AG member if I would have booked the ticket through them she may have been able to even give me a free upgrade. So am I crazy? Is this a case of DROPR? Or am I flying with AC for the next 6 month?

Check when they expired- could be they weren't actually there friday either, if Hertz will credit to Aegean it should work

Why is it that united gave me only 1 suitcase and no priority luggage on a domestic flight ? Is it a united policy change a star alliance change or a united frikin classic retardation?

The A3 mileage # was in your reservation? Or you just flagged your A3 Gold card?

Wow! I read that post before and I remembered for some reason that u get more.
They said they only put tags when it says on your reservation VIP and on mine it didn't say.
Just as a side note air Canada agent in tlv would not even consider me a gold member on a miles ticket booked through united so they only gave me one suitcase not priority and only let me get on the plane early because I had a baby. And this is after I spoke on the phone to a rep and she told me she added the gold number to my reservation and I get all the perks.

For those looking to re-qualify, Aegean has fares between TLV and MAD for $73 each way. Each way is two segments, and 2221 miles, so for for $146 you'll it the 4 segment requirement and pick up some miles.

Combine it with AA's 20K to Europe, and you have a super cheap roundrip to Israel.

Hey all, I am about to fly United metal PHL-SFO-HKG and back. I have A3 Gold, but don't really need the priority baggage/extra bags, and generally have lounge stuff taken care of. Has anyone had experience with getting any sorts of upgrades (to economy plus, etc), or is it not worth the FF# change to deal with? Thanks in advance!
