LA rental car help

Always worked for me, but to be safe, call in on the day of ur flight and say u got delayed and tell them to save the car for you, they will. But remember that when u check out they have the time u got there on the card, not the time of ur reservation, other wise they will make u return it less then the 24 hours u would normally get!

They give a discount for sams club members.

 if for a weekend try Hertz and pick up at the Marriott Hotel , no airport fees and usually you can get a free day throw in dont hav ethe code on me so a Thurs-Mon can be had for a compact for $60 maybe alittle more for those under 25

 you take the Marriott shuttle to the Hotel with your bags, dont check off that you are arriving by plane or train

Looking to rent a car for a week at LAX, and based on Kayak, it seems that the best deals are with ACE, Deluxe, E-Z and Midway. Thrifty/Dollar are a coupla more $$, not much.
So, in my eyes, I will settle for whatever is more convenient, but I've never rented at LAX before.
Which brings me to my question, can anyone recommend which of the above companies are most convenient and highly recommended for LAX.

"Overage", dates Jan 16 or 17 to 22 or 23. Kayak prices for full-size ranging between 152 and 160 after tax etc.
