expiring choice hotel points

i have 43000 choice hotel points expiring on dec 31st,
is there any way to renew them?
what is the best value to cash out?

no ideas?

(nobody else took advantage of the continental/amtrak/choice transfer a few years ago?)

you used to be able to book a room and then cancel to extend the expiration date but they fixed that loophole.

They sell 1,000 points for $11.  Check with them and see if adding points will extend it.
