You are not the only one.
They rep couldn't explain it to me either.
Even if they'll charge 10% of the miles based on the 3cpm rate + 10% of the fare it will still not come out that high.
I would've escalated it to someone for a breakdown as that sounds like a calculation error to me.

And I've also had managers recheck with the rate desk for a breakdown, and then had the taxes dramatically lowered.  Don't just take what you're told without asking for an accounting.

Was it already discussed with which program it is the cheapest to book an award ticket w/infant on lap, on the most traveled route here on DDF..? Which of curse is NYC-TLV.. I know Dan had an article about BA and Aeroplan, but when flying to TLV the surcharges (LH on Aeroplan and BA on BA..) on the award ticket will probably be more than the 10% for the infant.

A topic like this probably deserves its own thread...

ON a OW on AA from CDG-JFK on 06/07 the price is $3,000+ in economy flexible. But if I do a RT Economy Super Saver opens up. Would I have any luck in asking them to charge me 10% of super saver for my OW versus the flexible?

So then the TA will cancel the RT adult fare the infant was bought with? And the infant ticket will survive the cancellation?
