cheapoair hands down has been having the BEST prices- beating kayak and fly.com by at least 50$ a flight... but i find it to be trial and error. one hour it can change to be 200$ less... and 1 hour it can be 200$ more... so ya neva know..

IME motzei shabbos (Israel-time)  is the cheapest
I rely on travelocity, expedia & momondo. Sometimes can be cheaper to combine TLV-EU on easyjet/jetairfly with EU-US on icelandexpress or other airline

 i have monitored many websites, but still, calling an agent for Israel (and ONLY Israel), can beat any published fare. My agent waitlisted me for a lower fare and I got it.

When it comes to Travel to Israel, Travel Agents have consistently beat the published fares online. It doesn't hurt to call. I highly recommend BD Travel.

It all depends on how th pricing I set up by the airlines. I once had a BA tic that no TA in Israel could match since they were not offered that fare (yes I called Ora).

When flying internationally (and also domestic) a travel agent is the way to go. It's not once that you get bumped off the plane and put on a later flight and the travel agent can find you better options... That's If you book by them.

i once had to fly tlv-la direct be in la for 4 hrs then fly back so i kind of wanted to use matmid points to upgrade, but alas, there were no upgrades available
my travel agent called one of the higher ups at elal and refused to hang up until he manually processed the upgrade.
