Took me over two months even though I selected an HMO on the application and selected one right away as soon as I received the approval letter.

Wife gets paid as a 1099 worker, they asked or a profit and loss statement (I'd rather not submit tax returns because last year I sold some stock and don't want that confusing things).

What are some standard expenses for someone working from home? Can she take a deduction for home office similar to what the IRS allows?

Put what you would put on your schedule C.
Auto expenses as well. You can use the standard milage rate if you don't have gas receipts.

Would you be concerned about submitting tax forms from last year if you had capital gains from selling stocks?

Is it true that if you're somewhere that doesn't take your HMO (eg: a hospital), you can just give them your Medicaid card instead?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Hospitals, clinics and most pharmacy s it's unlikely that you'll find a place that takes straight medicaid but not your HMO. It's good for before u have your HMO or have some variation of emergency medicaid..

That is true, assuming you have UHC care to share...

Just got approved, but since there's a premium, it doesn't start till I pay, and enroll into the HMO. Anyone know how long that usually takes?

And is there any way for me to pay my premium retroactively so I can get coverage from the time I applied?

If you are out of state, can you have your doctor call in your medicine to a place like Rite Aid that takes Jersey care in New Jersey? (Being that it's a brand that has locations in NJ that are covered by Jersey care, can you get medicine called in to that store in a different state?)

If you sent in the birth verification within 30 days of birth, you're covered until you get a letter.

If a change in income would impact your premiums for NJ familycare, what happens if you wait before reporting it?
