Seems like Sprint is de facto forcing us legacy plan smartphone users onto WinMo due to BS everything plan requirements on WebOS and Android.

Had my TP2 for almost a year now, as a "replacement" for my TP (that i got free as well) and couldnt be happier. I wont switch to evo cuz there is no physical keyboard, and wont go to bb cuz it isnt touch screen/interface is horrible/the phone itself is a disaster..

I got my Amex Plat yest with a pretty cute welcoming packet.

Does that mean you had CO Club Lifetime membership and when you reach gold on CO you get access to all *A clubs?

That makes more sense but I thought that it only gets you into CO lounges so what's the difference which alliance they're part of?

No, a PC membership gets you into alliance lounges as well.

The price goes up every year.  I paid about $2,500 for a lifetime membership, now it's more than double that.

I just like using it to get past security even when not flying and getting the presidential plus card for $100 instead of $400/year.

what benefits does the presidental plus card have besides lounge access (which you have anyway)?
Do you really enjoy airport lounges that much that you go there even when you arent flying?

It's great to be able to go through security to pick someone up and then go for a free beer or ginger ale with amaretto on the rocks...

It's very YMMV.
Some clubs let me in by myself before I was 21 others didn't.  You can always bring in a guest over 21 and have them say they'll "watch" you.

Or you can get in via AMEX Plat if you are traveling on CO.
