Does anyone use a hamburger press? Looking for recommendations.

I've seen these 2 styles, wondering if anyone knows which is easier to use:

C. none of the above. Using a press makes the burgers rubbery.

Thanks for the advice! So you just make them by hand?

Oh ye.
But don't squash them by hand either. You want to keep the little air pockets.

Gotcha! I was just hoping there was an easier / neater way.

But thanks for helping me not waste my money!

Gloves?

They do have their uses when trying to make stuffed burgers.

If you will be using a press, I'd go with the first. Not always so easy to get the pressed burger out of the second type.
