Also recently cut out white potatos. I eat a ton of bok choy, asparagous, brocoli, cauliflower, sweet potato, squash / zuchni, carrots etc If you how to sautee and oven roast this is the most incredible food.

This comment reminded me...

Last week I had roasted fennel with Parmesan. I'm not a huge fennel fan even but I had a few extra in the fridge and this was fantastic!

Perhaps not over regular challah, but someone might highly recommend one gluten-free challah over another gluten-free challah...

I make one using this mix:
https://www.vitacost.com/simple-mills-almond-flour-mix-gluten-free-artisan-bread?csrc=GPF-PA-Food%20%26%20Beverages-856069005032&ci_gpa=pla&ci_kw=&ci_origin=mobile&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=856069005032&csrc=GPF-PA&mtp=sNtOajnv2-dm|pcrid|97670539573|product|856069005032&pgrid=18627411973&ptaid=aud-96369708371:pla-108756438731&gclid=CjwKCAjwt5DXBRAtEiwAa3vyEtSp5SaDuciHs0Kxg7z9MKzic22IPnUKTPCy2-TnTjBzxgSSFWqePBoCYjQQAvD_BwE

Most gluten-free doughs are more like batters, and therefore impossible to braid. I use the silicone challah baking pan.

Any specific flour you want to use? I'd probably stick with an oat flour blend.
Try the Rories gluten free oat mix.

Thanks. That's what was recommended to me, so I went to the store on Friday to get it, but they were out. I saw something there instead called Blends by Orly - same idea as Rories. It was ok - my 4-year-old (the one who needs to like it...) had a piece on Friday when it was fresh out of the oven, but wouldn't have more than a bite Shabbos day (even though we warmed it up).

For anyone who uses soy sauce.... You will never want to use any other kind of soy sauce again....  So much better than what you're used to.

Unfortunately yes,  it's a pretty standard price. Though you do get more for your money if you get one of the bigger bottles.

Toasted sesame crusted and seared for 1-1.5 min on each side. Slice and serve on a bed of lettuce alongside strawberry and orange slices. Top with a vinaigrette.

How is it different than the standard soy sauces?

Besides for the obvious that it's unpasteurized... It smells and tastes much better.

If it is that much better that it ruins cheap soy sauce then yes. If not then it is probably not worth it.
