Costco on 3rd ave in Brooklyn is on the list. Should be pretty easy to spend $200 there.

From the terms it's not totally clear if the 2 purchases need to be at 2 different merchants.

I am seriously thinking of maybe a weekend in NY for DW and me. I have a ton of AU’s that are family members (same last name) on both my personal and business accounts. How are NY merchants on checking the name on the card?

almost never have gotten asked. might be a little trickier though if you want to use 10 different cards in one purchase

Its says registration starts tommorow ("you must register any eligible American Express Card at amexnetwork.com/getmorenyc between January 18, 2012 and February 29, 2012" )
has anyone registered yet and gotten a confirmation? I am afraid of registering too early?
