This time it seems you can buy 3500 dollars worth but you will have to pay 15 dollars for the fee plus hipping and handling. Is it worth it?

 depends why you want them, if its to earn Miles or Pts No since most likely you wont get either as Amex is onto taht already

 If you need them for their usage, maybe just I cant figure where Id ever need to use them

 well for a number of years we did and it was Great, but Thanks to a # of Greedy SOs , who purcahsed 100s of 1000s in  a month and cashed them in the bank right across the street when they left the Amex Office, it Died.

 Now you can still do it I think $1k every 2 weeks or 4 weeks, but you wont get anything out of it other then the TCs for free.
