I bumped into this a little while ago and was wondering if anyone else had any experience with this deal

The t and c's seems to say that all you need to do is book rather than travel. They donâ€™t say when travel needs to be complete by. And they say the status miles for existing elites comes after registering for the promotion rather than after travel. I tried booking a refundable fare around 2 weeks ago but haven't seen a change in status yet. any tips ?

So I clicked on the link and it takes me to BMIs Home page, how does 1 go about getting the Silver Status?

what happens is 1 person will make a post and everyone after that person wont look at the original posting date of teh person who started the thread but reacts to what has just been posted

Maybe DD needs a way to Lock the threads once they arent valid any longer

I thought the ability to always edit your own posts was a good idea but obviously others don't because we still don't have the feature

True but even then people would click onto to it thinking its still Alive, when its Closed then it will eventually fade away as it cant be bumped any longer by someone making a new post on it and will just find its way to the bottom of the barrel

Funny that this was a promo for a Yidishe organization- It will cost you 100 pounds to get memberhsip- not so worth it-

Posters on Flyer Talk indicated at the time that this promo went up that the likelihood of keeping it without a valid membership in the said organization was slim to none.

I will just put the question out to the public: If you signed up for this account, would it be worthwhile to contact Diamond Club yourself to let them know that it was made in error. The purpose of this of course is in case you have any existing or future business with BMI with a different account number......

What if I got my card showing my silver elite status thru May 2011, if I fly continental will they look up the account or will the card be sufficent?

I think that having the card will be sufficient to get the baggage fees waived. But it may be a challenge because it won't happen automatically.

if you ignore the email you will lose status in 28 days…
so the question is if in the interim, you can get another airline or alliance to match it….

i also got the email about losing membership in 28 days... i called bmi this morning and asked for a 'copy' of the card to be sent to me.
the agent didn't ask me anything to do with the 'JCWIZO'. he said that they will send it... will it work if i just show the card
in the airport even though they cancel my membership?
