Amex is selling $25 Gap GC's for 1,250 points which is 50% off regular price. That means your AMEX MR points are worth 2 cents each at Gap. If you purchase the GC's you can probably sell hem online at a 10%-15% discount, which will still value your points at almost 1.75 cents each

I see on the MR redemption options for gc's that they have the $25 gc to Gap for 1,250 instead of 2,500. This is valid till 1/29.
I think this is the physical gc.

I see that plastic jungle has 'up to' 87% paid for these.

No, I mean 21k. None of the transfer options are blowing me away (maybe I'll take BA), and it'll be hard switching these points to my spouses account, where 150k already sit. They told me I could, but only if I'm and AU on one of her cards, etc.

So add yourself as AU - u can do it online.

And what's wrong with the BA option - especially now with 30% bonus until 1/31.  Excellent value for short-haul AA flights.

  Find a place where it is required by law. All I found so far is that in California the law is under $10.
