never got any mags yet, got this email today:

I emailed to cancel auto renewal 2 minutes after I ordered the magazines. I just got a response similar to the one above that they have cancelled it.

Automatic Renewal
Your selections will continue annually. Each year, you'll receive a reminder notice and you authorize your account to be charged the rate plus any processing on the notice for the next year of issues until you tell us to stop. If a title becomes unavailable, it will be replaced by another with the same renewal features.
